It's Thanksgiving and most of us are with our families.  We certainly need to pray for those who are separated from their loved ones during the holiday season.

When I watched these little ones respond to their dads, I thought not only of the bond between parents and children, but of the wonder of the reconciliation afforded by salvation as sinners are reunited with their Heavenly Father!  That's where we were all made to be ... close to our Father.

The Bible talks about the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5).  Not only is it incredible to be close to God and to watch when others are reunited with Him, but we have the privilege to help facilitate those reunions.  I think that is so awesome!
